About Us.
LIEB BOOKS is a secondhand bookstore specializing in art books, including photography, architecture, and design publications.
Since launching our online shop in 2012, we have focused on art books and became a member of the antiquarian booksellers’ association in 2016.
From 2017 to 2024, we also operated a physical store.
Currently, we mainly operate online, working with partner shops to deliver art books across Japan.

Mail-in purchase

We offer free estimates and carefully assess each book individually.

This service is ideal for customers who want time to think before selling, as well as those who live far away.

You can send your books by Yu-Pack cash on delivery, so shipping is free from anywhere in Japan, no matter how many boxes you send.

Please note that we cannot accept parcels sent without prior notice.

We pay for purchases by bank transfer, and all transfer fees are covered by our shop.

On-site purchase

We offer on-site purchasing for collections of around 100 books or more.

This service is recommended for those who have a large number of items—such as collections, office relocations, or estate cleanouts—or for those who would like assistance with organizing.

We will assess your books on the spot and pay in cash.

If you wish, we can also take books that have no resale value, as long as it is reasonably possible.

We will provide all necessary supplies, including boxes and string.

In accordance with the Antique Dealings Act, a valid photo ID is required.

In-store purchase

We offer in-store purchases by appointment in Higashi Ward, Nagoya.

We buy from a single book upward, making this service ideal for customers with smaller quantities or those who live nearby.

Please contact us in advance, as we may be temporarily closed due to off-site visits.

In accordance with the Antique Dealings Act, a valid photo ID is required.

Please be sure to bring it with you when selling your books.
